Sash Masters offer a complete repair, restoration and replacement service for Box Sash windows, as well as the design and build of new windows. Where required we work alongside architects to cater for clients in conservation areas. In these areas we have products such as Conservation Sashes, Box Sashes, Casement Windows and Historic Box Sashes. As part of our restoration service we will completely overhaul and draught proof your window(s).
We also cater for Leaded Glass, Stained Glass Windows including Hand Painted Stained Glass and special Pilkington ‘K’ Glass with sound reduction qualities or Acoustic Glass where necessary.
To make and fit a window can approximately take up to 3 weeks, depending on the clients requirements. Once our clients are happy with the price we have given them, we draw up a contract with a mutually agreed start and completion date and a schedule of works.
We also make bespoke Window Seats and Shutters for all periods; Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian are our speciality. We can match joinery for window seats and shutters from any era required and we also cater for more contemporary and modern designs as well.
We use premium grade wood to make our conservation products. All our hardwood is hand selected from an English Mill that sources its wood from F.S.C. (Forest Stewardship Council) certified forests, ensuring it is from a Sustainable Source and Environmentally Friendly. We use traditional timber yards that stock well seasoned hard woods.
