Gothic Mullioned window in Edwardian Gate House
This was in the Charlton SE7 South East London area.
An infusion of Gothic & Edwardian characteristics. This Mullioned style window of Gothic depiction was made up of Equilateral arches that were of a Gothic style, however this was an Edwardian style old Gate House property.

All joinery was matched to existing joinery, this was a bespoke special order using green Oak. All wood was filled using a two part wood filler, then sealed & primed then finally had a gloss finish using a micro porous paint system.

All the external masonry was stripped back where necessary & filled using an external mortar filler. The concrete was sealed with masonry base paint & finished with exterior masonry paint. As these windows were refurbished, it was requested that a bespoke special order hand blown glass be used, with similar characteristics to crown glass giving a kind of rippled effect.

The architectural brick work was carefully restored & cleaned & then re-pointed by a master bricklayer.
