The glass in the top sash was cracked with a slight hole in the corner of the window. This was changed from a single glazed unit to an 18mm double glazed sealed unit. The glass specifications were 4mm low 'E' glass, with a white 10mm warm edge spacer bar & 4mm 'K' glass. This unit was Argon Filled & had a low 'U' value. The beading from around the glass was removed & then the new glass was fitted & adhesive was applied under the beading & this was tacked in using pins. The correct depth of pin had to be used to ensure the glass was not damaged. Once dry, any excess adhesive was scraped off the glass which was then subsequently cleaned.
