This was in the Beckenham BR3 area.

This was a luxury apartment that resulted from a loft conversion. The interior was very contemporary and quite minimal, with clean lines and marble worktops in the kitchen with floor lighting.

The exterior was assembled using Larch wood shiplap boards this wood was chosen for its water repellent properties. A hardwood frame was stained & varnished as a surround for a tilting double glazed sealed unit in a casement style window. The glass specifications were: 4mm Acoustic glass with the interior glass being Pilkington ‘K’ thermal glass – (keeping in the warmth and reflecting the sunlight), with a 16mm warm edge spacer bar and 4mm Acoustic glass this was Krypton filled to enhance its sound proofing qualities and give it a very low U value.
